GARDENInfoSys, the Information System on German Agricultural Research for Development, Environment and Nutrition is a member of EARDInfoSys the Information System on European Agricultural Research for Development. The objective of GARDENInfoSys is to gather the widely scattered information on ARD in Germany and make it accessible via one page. The database is mapping the German ARD landscape and is showing the relations between organisations, projects, funding opportunities and experts. Being part of EARDInfoSys+ GardenInfoSys also shows linkages between German and European ARD activities. In order to facilitate transparancy and further scientific cooperation, GARDENInfoSys is offering various information and communication services for the German ARD community like an email Alert news service or the use of a groupware for project management.
