Rothamsted Research Association RRA is the members association of Rothamsted Research formerly the Institute of Arable Crops Research, comprising the Rothamsted and Brooms Barn sites. Research at Rothamsted started in 1843 and the Institute is renowned internationally for its scientific leadership in many areas of importance to cereals and arable farming. RRA aims to ensure that new scientific knowledge of relevance to agricultural and landmanagement practices is rapidly transferred in a usable form for commercial, environmental and societal benefit. Members, including farmers, landowners, consultants, advisors, industry representatives and policy makers get a wide range of advantages.
