CLIMA became a University of Western Australia Research Centre, within the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences, on 1 July 2007, when the formal Memorandum of Understanding between the four original partners, Department of Agriculture and Food Western Australia, The University of Western Australia, CSIRO and Murdoch University, concluded. CLIMA continues to be a leadingedge centre for legume research, including continued collaboration with its former alliance partners, with national and international scientists, and with industry partners.
