The company was established in 1989 as an independent enterprise paying rental for facilities within the University of Bristol, England, whilst undertaking contract work. In 1994, i2LResearch Ltd moved to Cardiff as a Limited company and became a wholly owned subsidiary of Cardiff University. The company experienced strong growth in its product development and testing unit and decided in 2000 to concentrate its efforts in this area. i2LResearch Ltd will become the leading European product testing and development centre for the pest control industry, serving domestic and overseas clients.
