In view of the importance of AgroInformatics, a team of dedicated professionals started their humble efforts in 2002 under the guidance of eminent scientist and educationist Dr. Amir Muhammed. The momentum of the work resulted in the establishment of the Center for AgroInformatics Research CIR in 2004. CIR is one of the first and unique research centers of its kind, aimed at the emerging field of AgroInformatics.
