The Animal Production Systems Group explores sustainable development options for the complex, society driven problems of a wide range of systems: from capital intensive mainly in the western world to capital extensive systems mainly in the developing world; from conventional farming to organic farming; and from systems with the emphasis on production to systems with the emphasis on nature management or social reasons for keeping animals.
