Wormtec is pleased to be working with the Coombabah State School and their student to trial an organic soil rebuilding program on their sporting oval. The students will be using wormtec worm extract and two different seaweed products to see the benefits of going organic and using natural biology based soil improvers. The school grounds have stopped responding to synthetic fertilizers. Although Wormtec Worm Farming and vermiculture and Microbe Organics are on different continents, our purposes are united, to inform growers of the benefits of microbial based organic farming techniques. Our ideal being to contribute, from our small sectors, to the acceptance of this ecologically responsible horticultural approach, globally. As agricultural soils and water become deadened from chemical applications throughout the world we can be encouraged that this emerging science may possess the key to conserving Terra Firma as a living entity.
